Blake Morstad recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University where he studied avalanche engineering as part of one of the country’s most prestigious avalanche research programs.

He currently lives in Bozeman and has been spoiled by the multitude of outdoor activities right at his doorstep. He enjoys lite and fast summit ascents, backpacking, technical canyoneering, rock climbing, mountain biking, and trail running. Blake has competed in several local trail races including the grueling 20 mile Bridger Ridge Run.
